Tuna Bay Island Resort offers 46 cool and spacious wooden chalets set either right on the beachfront, shaded by coconut palms, or around a pretty garden area. Fifteen of the chalets are interconnecting and are perfect for family use. All chalets are just a minute’s walk from the beach and command stunning views of neighboring Pulau Perhentian Kecil (Small Island) and the shimmering South China Sea.
The wooden chalets on stilts boast air-conditioning and covered terraces, and are fitted with tropical bamboo furniture. The cream of the crop of course are those sitting right on the beach facing the sea, but visitors who prefer a bit more privacy or peace and quiet can opt for the chalets set a little further back from the sea, either with a jungle backdrop or placed around the pleasant garden area.
